Orphaned at eight months old, Armando has made his way through life alone. Guided by the wisdom of his elders, he always found the time to stop and listen to those who’d share their stories.
He was raised in the fields, working as a young child to help put food on the table. His dream was to become a doctor someday. Unfortunately, he had to drop out of high school and hold multiple jobs in order to support his grandparents and himself. Since then, Armando has developed a diverse set of skills and established numerous professional and personal connections with people across the workforce.
In 1998, Armando found a new occupation: field stone. It was only a matter of time before he advanced further into stonework. From surface mines and sawshops to operating heavy equipment, even basic mechanics in advanced machinery-he learned everything he could.
In 2005, Armando was able to purchase his own equipment and hire his first team, effectively starting his business. There were many hardships along the way, but he was relentless and worked day and night until he had finally worked his way up in the stone industry.
Today, he is one of the major suppliers of stone in Pennsylvania. His networking has allowed him to expand from New England states, to as far south as Florida. He fulfilled his promises to others and himself and became a co-founder of one of the biggest saw shops in northeastern Pennsylvania. With over 20 years of experience and intimate knowledge of the stone business, his contacts throughout the region are what makes him able to supply his customers with the products they need.
